My vain post

Post by Dmitriy »

Picture of my new kit (and, most importnatly, device!) from West's October Crown.

Alas, the key ingridient is missing -- my Patrick Thaden bascinet , complete with a riveted aventail.

Very nice, make sure Bexter sees it. Help get her off the backs of all us big bearded guys!

I may not be big, Owen, but at least I am bearded! Image

(The only reason I wear mail is to make sure I don't fly off the list field when the wind picks up).

Nice kit, and evidence that a simple device CAN pass. I miss the maille, lamellar, conical helmet and big ol' round shield though Image

Brodir -- thanks for the compliment, but the device hasn't passed yet. Apparently wyverns and dragons are considered to be the same monster by the heralds, which causes a conflict with 2 entities, one of which is a barony... sigh. I am planning on getting letters of permission.

Great picture - would have been absolutely kick-ass if there was a spear head on the end of that banner-pole! Image

Be sure to post pictures of that basinet with the riveted aventail! Image

Love the artwork. Good luck getting permission to conflict, it would be a shame not to have that out there. And post a pic of the bascinet - come on you know you wnat to.
