Still More Armour Stuff For Sale

Post by Drogo the Clueless »

First up is a scabbard made by Sir Vitus. Never been used or seen combat (a travesty to be honest). Since I want I a later period version, I have to sell this one off first. Originally paid $150 asking $85 plus shipping.

Next item up for sale is a set of stainless steel basket hilts. I bought these at Pennsic 38 and they have seen very little use. Original price was $75 each asking $40 for one or $75 for the 2 plus shipping.

Last item up is the oddball one. It is a gambeson made by Steel Mastery. It is a great quality gambeson made of 3 layers of linen. Fits me great in the chest, belly, and arms, unfortunately it is too short for the presentation I am doing as it does not show beneath the CoP I have. So the buyer would have to be fairly short. The sleeves may run a little long for said short person but I am confident it would not take much to hem the sleeves. Paid $100 for the gambeson asking for $50.

Could you give measurements for chest, arms, and length for the gambeson please?

Chest (straight line distance from arm pit to arm pit) is 20" (fits my chest of 49")

Arms are 26" long from the point of the shoulder seam to the cuff

Length is 33 1/2" from the shoulder (right at neck line) to the end of a dag.
