WTB - Viking hilt and pommel

Post by Eudo »

Wanting to buy a viking hilt and pommel for SCA rattan. Attaching pics to show what I am looking for. I have seen the ones at Windrose Armory.

A friend of mine bought the aluminum ones from Windrose, then engraved round holes into it to look like one of the extant hilts.

I think Raymond's Quiet press used to do some. I would check out his site.

By my hand does some incredible one piece hilt-and-guard styles. You just kinda slide your rattan into a slot and secure...sadly it seems you have to go to an event to catch him. I still scold myself for not picking up one when I had the chance. :(

IIRC, Raymond used to make rubber hilts pre-molded onto a stick of rattan. I'm not sure if he still does this as I can't find it on his site.
