review on tent stakes and service from Rasper77

Post by aidanhroarsson »

The only thing I am remiss about is getting this good gentle's name...
I was in the process of making a field pavilion and decided to contact him on October 3 to see if he was still offering forged stakes. After a couple of e-mails back and forth, he told me that he had to forge some out, I ordered a dozen 16" tent stakes from him with a guarantee delivery no later than the 10th. I told him that there was an event that weekend I was attending, but it would be fine. Here it is the day before I go to said event and I have the stakes I ordered! I can now set-up my pavilion on the lyst field and have some shade for my lady while I fight!
6's across the board! He really came through! I would pass him on to any and all my people! Thanks again!

His name is Gary Rath, and he has done a ton of work in the past for me.

His work is always top notch. I have a bunch of his stakes, as well as he has done a bunch of wood working for me including some viking chests and a slat bed.

Super solid work, and a really nice guy.

I really felt dumb after posting that I didn't catch his name and then my wife asking about the box... the box with Gary's full name that he sent the stakes in... talk about a de dede moment...
I already had a few guys ask me about them. They really finish the look I wanted to get with the pavilion.
