Pair of Topfhelms for sale

Post by CLANG »

I managed to get a couple of back-burner projects finished recently while awaiting measurements for another project.

I will have 2 topfhelms for sale, 14 ga mild steel.

1 is Large, about 24-24.5" noggin. (Shown below.)
1 is Small-ish. I have a 22.5" head, and I could probably just use it comfortably with padding. Would go a bit smaller, but no larger, I think.

The small one is not done yet, but will be shortly.

They will be virtually identical, except for the size, and the fact that the row of sights just below the eyes are a little different. Oh-and the small one doesn't have the ridgeline continuing onto the forehead like the large one has.

Each will be around $300. I'll get more accurate pricing and better pics when I get the smaller one finished in a few days.

Any questions, please ask, and thanks for looking.

Here's a pic of the un-finished small helm face-plate, so you can see the difference in the vision slots.

And yes, the eyes are SCA legal. Visibility is surprisingly very good.

And one more thing-these have very oval skulls, so you won't feel like you're wearing a boat on your head, with 2" of padding at either side.
