Any chance this can be done in left-handed?

It's not a standard option for the messers, but I just took a close look at mine and it doesn't look like it would be all that difficult for a lefty to disassemble the hilt and flip the guard over. Another customization that I've heard folks mention over the years is shortening the guard a bit.

To convert just knock out the rivets, rotate the guard, and reassemble?

Albion has a left-handed option, but 4x the price. I can't really see my wife going for any excuse on that one, lol.

Yup! (with maybe a "pull off the pommel" in there, too).

Hey, Hal!

Do you have any of those two-hand Skeggox axes in stock, by chance?

Probably a good idea.

A couple more questions: Can these be sharpened? http://www.therionarms.com/reenact/ther ... c1102.html
http://www.therionarms.com/reenact/ther ... c1099.html

Also, would either be suitable for live steel combat?

and while we're asking questions... How long are the sleeves on a Large and X-Large Archer's Gambeson? http://www.therionarms.com/reenact/ther ... c1318.html
