Hey Emris,

On your website, the term "arm armor" would be more appropriate than "hand armor" on your category list. The hand is only the portion of the arm where the gauntlet goes. Lovely work. :)

Emris,

This is a beautiful helm! Is it still for sale? What is the interior width and length? (mm or inches is fine) and what size head do you think it would fit? Also, can you add a liner and chin strap and at what cost? I only need the liner attached with nuts & bolts so I can heat-blacken the steel first.

Also 2.5mm steel is very thick! How heavy is this helm? (kg or lbs is fine)

Thank you,
Sean Powell

Hello,

The helmet you inquired about has been sold. I didn't weighted it but I reckon that it was approximately 3-4 kg. Currently in stock we have only this capelin:

http://www.artarmor.com.ua/index.php/co ... gory_id=11

Nevertheless I'll be happy to forge a customized helmet for you. The waiting list is booked till the end of spring.

Best regards,
Emris

I notice you're selling "half-finished" work as well. Could I ask, would you be willing/able to do a few small parts of sections of armour, and sell them completely unpolished, etc?

I've been wanting to make a set of 16th C gauntlets. Most of the shaping I could do myself, but I would like to have the knuckle-bows made with a deep box shaping, in spring steel.

something you'd be interested/willing to do, just a pair of the part highlighted green in this picture?
