Im curious to know if any of you are handgonners in reneactments and if so could you post pics. Could anyone also inclue what kinda armour a handgonner would have been wearing in 1370?

Is that really 1370? I wasn't aware the full articulated legs were existant then!

Hey Chazz, I remember you from Pennsic two years ago; I'm Ben, the one Jonathan named affectionately "Puck." You stayed in Camp Drachenstein with me.

Anywho, that "handgonne" was awesome. I think the best part was you standing on the battlements of the castle and pointing it at some archer, then raising the fuse to the back end of the gun. I think the poor guy actually thougt he was gonna be shot.

IIRC, the pointy toes are to let you more easily signal the horse to set and change gait leads?
This dude would trip and fall every time those toes got caught in the ground...right?

That is too cool for school! Did anybody recognize it? Did anybody freak out and scream 'AAAAAH! GUN!'
