Spring is in the air! Are you ready for Heavy list fighting?

Post by Lydushka »

Spring is in the air!
and all true fighters's thoughts begin to make plans for their armor and art!

I, Lydushka, can help you with your plans.

I make Gambesons, brig coats, arming coats, fencing doublets and all manner of period clothing... from early 600ad viking to late US Civil War.
All my work is custom and is to your specs.
Porepoints, arming belts, cotton, wool, linen, specified padding, leather, applique and embroidery!
If you have a heraldic shield you wish to add to your tabbard or gambeson or fencing jacket, I can do that for you for a small additional charge.

I have recently added to my collection, a leather machine, which means that my custom creations now have a bigger selection towards the heavier leather and canvas applications...which I think many of the SCA safety rules have changed from punch testing for fencing armor to covering the obviously non period protection with at least a somewhat period looking tabbard or arming coat!

if you would like to see more of my work..besides a very happy Mike Deth from Australia! (see attached), you can go on my flkr site, under Lydushka's Completely Custom Creations. (thanks for the comment of supplying photos of my work, is a big help)

Please contact me PM or thru my email address at Lydushka@yahoo.com for any requests or price quotes...my website, www.lydushkas.com, is being revamped and more items are being added and older items are being repriced.
so catch me now before the prices go up..My calender is filling up fast.
My basic turnaround for work is 6 weeks.

Thank you all of my past customers for your kind patronage and patience...it has meant alot to me.
if you have a picture of the work I have done for you, feel free to post on the list...and this way I can have a copy too!

Thank you again,
Lydushka

Last week I placed my order and then sent her my measurements. I must say that she's been a real pleasure to work with even though I've been somewhat of a pain. I'm extremely excited to get my clothing.
