textual sources for tournaments

In my endless quest to avoid working on my thesis, I have started reading up on tournaments, and there is one source in particular I would like to find, and I'm having no luck with searches.

I have a hazy recollection that, perhaps a year or two ago here on AA, someone posted some extracts of a Medieval text giving details about precisely what individual participants did during the fights, and details about their armor. For example, I recall that one knight removed the visor from his helmet when he heard that his opponent would also be fighting visor-less.

Anyonw have any idea what I'm talking about? I certainly don't!

My blog has many accounts of medieval deeds of arms, including examples of the sort of incident you describe. You can use the labels "Deeds of Arms" and "Index of 15th Century Deeds of Arms" to find those accounts more easily.
