HELP! - my search-Fu is broken - lamellar

There was was thread from Nantucket.......

I mean, there was at one time a thread where folks were showing off their lamellar/kits.
I am making a quick and dirty set for a newbie but want to add some flair to hide the quick and dirty aspect (he needs body armour to get back on the field.)
I got the basic lames cut out and mostly assembled.
I want to add some finishing touches to make it look less 'out of the box'
I remember a few of your kits inspired me at the time of said threadand hoped to find it but my searches havent turned up much.
