just saw the promo on history channel for the "barbarians"

guys in fake fur and rusty helmets

one guy had an axe and sword combo

I rather liked Terry Jones take on history. Detailed, I believe it was accurate, and very, very funny. Loved it!

I loved him trying to walk through Anatolia in a hauberk and leather soled shoes, while a fire engine drenched him and the surrounding ground in floods of water. Obviously hasn't tried walking in wet conditions in that kind of footwear before . . .

Terry Jones' Medieval Lives part 3 and 4 are this Saturday at 7pm EST on History channel.
One of them focuses on Kings and the other on Damsels.
They will probably show them all together sooner or later, and hopefully they will put them on tape or dvd like they did with his Crusades.
