Bauzabands

Post by Evangelos »

I would like to replace my arms with Bauzabands. I have Magnus' leather arms and they are beyond kick-butt, however moving on is my plan. Have aluminum greaves, T6 and would like something as light if possible. Trying to sharpen my kit.
Thx,
Evan

A lot of people swear by Bokalo, never bought anything from him but I have talked to him almost every year at Pennsic and he's a very nice guy.

Aluminum bazubands (that he calls Bazerbon) for $250 a pair, custom made to your size in 3-4 weeks according to his web page.

Gunther of Orkney has done some BEAUTIFUL stuff in aluminum, but if I remeber correctly he's not doing commissions anymore, but you could look him up on the archive and contact him.

Hope that helps

Much to my chagrin, I actually DON'T have a pic of a finished pair in this style. I'll complete them tonight and post one. They're the plain version of the ones in this thread: http://forums.armourarchive.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=134151&p=1988020#p1988020

They are single layer as opposed to double layer, and the seam is rivetted instead of sewn.
