James River Armoury at Potrero...

Post by ARMOURER ERIC »

...Kind of.

I will be having a sampling of my items for sale via consignment at Yoho's Leatherworks, his booth is at the back near the parking lot. I have a selection of stuuf that I commonly list on ebay.

I have:

Brig Gorgets
14C Spaulders
German Gothic Spaulders
Articulated Elbows
Full Steel Arms
A Norman Conical helm
Clamshell GAuntlets
Articulated Knee joints

I plan tp be on site there from 4-8PM tonight
Most of the day tomorrow
and 4-8PM Sunday

It's only 25 miles from the farm so I will be shuttleing back and forth.

Eric, are you still about 3 years behind on your custom stainless? I have a jousting student that paid in full but still hasn't received his gear. Any chance he will have it this Summer? I would really like to get him into the list, maybe before the Estes Park tournament in September.

Thanks.

Lloyd,

If you are referring to Jon's stuff I am well into it, and do expect it done in the next 30-45 days. I have only recently begun to accept stainless work because I have some newer equipment that allows me to work it faster, plus if it is Jon's, he getting some seriously complex stuff.

Lloyd,

I just reread your post, again if you are referring to Jon's order, which is the only late custom stainless order I have, it is not paid in full. The breast and back is 2/3 paid, the arms and legs, about half.

Yep, its Jon's. None of my gear even got close to fitting him (that's why I let it all go) so I have been stuck in what to put him up in (and then getting to hit him  ).

That is good news. I now have a target date to plan with.

As for the payment, I just remember hearing something a bit different. But, no matter, I'll get on with the plans to get Jon in the saddle with armour in the next few weeks.

Thanks, Eric!

Do you have any of those spaulders available in stainless?

Hi,

No, I don't have them in stock in stainless. I could make them if you were willing to wait a few weeks.
