Churburg For Sale with hockey shoulders

Post by Damon »

So I picked up Icefalcon's AA Churburg and I love it. However I have decided to go a different direction with my kit.

So what I have is an AA Churburg that is super light and I wear it over some Easton Hockey shoulders that I stripped down. So the shoulders give you clavicle and spine with some very small shoulder pauldrons and you wear the churburg over it. It fits me with a 45" waist so it can easily fit someone with a smaller waist or similar size.

Icefalcon asks 300+ for this Churburg I am only asking $150 + Shipping and I will toss in the hockey shoulders for free or not if you don't want them.

You're making me want to violate my armor budget for the month...

45" waist is pretty generous, what are we looking at for chest size?

It fits me with a 45 inch waist. Chest is not really an issue with the way these sit it is really about waist and height I am five eight this could be adjusted to fit someone a few inches taller or shorter. The way it sits on me there is plenty of space in the back so if your waist is smaller you can still use this. If it is bigger you could use it also but it just creates a bigger gap in the back.

I think my chest is around 55" or so.

Sorry I forgot to mention Paypal or money order.

Hi Damon,

I see your selling your entire kit. What new direction are you taking? You were making so much good progress on your 14th century kit.

Cheers,

For the PMs.

My waist is 44" and my chest is 55" from one nipple to the other it is 12". I am 5' 8" and weigh 240. When I wear this I have a space in the back of 8 inches so you could go as small as a 36" waist on this.

What I did was took Easton hockey shoulders and removed the sternum, then I took off the big shoulders and just use the rear brace they had as pauldrons. So what I end up with is something as small and light as Field Hockey shoulders but it has rigid spine, clavicle, and shoulder protection.

If you want the hockey shoulders I will just toss those in if you do not want them I donate them to a local fighter practice.

The way these sit though your chest size is not really an issue unless your torso is significantly larger or smaller than mine. You can be taller than me or shorter and still be able to use this.

The leather is black and it is the Aircraft Aluminum stuff so it only weighs a few pounds. It looks like highly polished stainless but is super light.

I cannot flat rate this but I would guess shipping will be $20 to $30 in CONUS.

I just price things to move it is better than having items sit around collecting dust waiting on the right price. :)

Plus I got a good deal on a full suit black prince style.

Churburg is sold pending payment.
