Sir Patrick O'Malley wrote:The final three came down to Conrad, Sven, and I. I was down one to Conrad from round two. Conrad and Sven fought and Sven was victorious. Sven and I fought and fortune was mine. Conrad and I fought, I let him get to close and a great pummeling did commence. Conrad advanced too the final with Sven. Great fun was had by all.

The fighting was, without a doubt, spectacular this year. However, it seems like everyone was holding their breathes during the semi final. I was, as i'm sure many other were as well, blown away by how long you managed to block blow after blow with your sword in your left hand.

Conrad was in fine fighting form all day, as well (as evidenced in the "My shield hit me hard!" comment).

Video!

I watched the finals again this morning, so i know there's a (highly edited) video floating around somewhere. It was a long final.

Also we need a video of Prince Miles' spinny moves.

Oh man, that's some magical stuff. It worth watching for the noise that Duke Edward makes, if nothing else.

Prince Miles is also the undisputed master of fancy deaths, so far as i'm concerned.
