Hi all.
A quick question or two about later German arm harnesses which look like this:

but instead of having each component individually pointed to the arming garment....the bits are riveted to a strap, so essentially the whole kit and kaboodle hangs from the spaudler.
I can understand how in flexing the elbow the lower canon can be made not to drift down the forearm. But. If I lift my whole arm, with the harness pointed above the shoulder, will it all get pushed down the arm and hinder movement? If it might, is there a way to prevent it?
