Hi. have any of you used DonJoy knee braces? I've gotten the closest thing to a blessing from my PT to start fighting again, and I'm looking for a better brace than what I wore in the past. Thanks.

I'm wearing a Bregg Fusion knee brace right now.
However, Don Joy is awesome too.
My Ortho guy (who is also in the SCA and fights) choose the bregg for me since I told me I was going to fight in it.
I think the key is get a "made to your measurements" brace. NOT an off the shelf model.

I think JP de Sens used a Don Joy, and so did Glendour. They are pretty much warranted for any abuse you want to put them thru, and used by NFL football players. (IIRC-it has been a few years since I've heard them talked about, but they were the *Gold Standard* at the time.)

I have used the Don Joy "Gold Point" and a model of the Bregg, both rock like Slayer and do what they are supposed to do.
