Hi. I just finished this new 16th C gorget. Knitebee had mentioned on my earlier attempts that the lames go only vertical. On this one I tried to get the neck lames to lay flat with the main body, and transition to a vertical plane. I didnt get it exactly how I wanted it but its an improvement. The neck articulates like magic , Im real happy with its mobility.
Have a good weekend

Outstanding!
I should love to see a picture of the inside, the suspension of the neck lames, please.

Well done.

last one, the back set of lames is partially rivet articulated and partially strap articulated. All strap articulation in front.

What knitbee was describing is the plates that sit on the shoulders flare at the top so that they're vertical and the lames attach to that. It's a kind of large rounded flare you'd probably need to do hot.
Basically your first vertical lame is part of the plates that sit on the shoulders instead of a sepearte piece.
Looks nice though.
