WTB stainless camail ...

Post by Lucian Ro »

Looking to to purchase a stainless camail.
Want to attach it to the underside of my greathelm via a strip of leather with sinew, I assume.
Still trying to figure that out.
Diamteer needs to be appropriate for SCA heavy combat.
Any takers?

Go with Ld. Charles. He's reliable and fairly quick.

For the attachment thread a piece of leather lace through the top row of rings. Then sew around that lace and into the leather strip with sinthetic sinew or waxed linen thread.

I can certainly do that. I would recommend 16G Stainless in a 1/4" ring. Excelent durability for a camail.

Can't put in my bid this time. My non-stock queue is full until June 25th.

Lord Charles is probably your best option.
