Review: White Mountain Armoury Kettle Helm

Sadly, White Mountain Armoury is no longer doing custom work, but my wife managed to order what could be one of the last Standard Design Kettle Helms.

She received it yesterday.
It is gorgeous.
5's across the board.

This lines on this helm are so clean and crisp, the shapes so eye-catching. the grill work is quite pleasant to the eye, roomy, and very protective.

If you can get any items from White Mountain...Get Them.

Hers next to my eight year old White Mountain kettle, and here is my wife all smiles in her new lid. She insisted we get it padded last night. She's going to add either a leather or cloth aventail, and I am going to make her up a chinstrap, and she is ready to rock.

She can finally retire that nasty, dented, cheapo beer-can barrel helm she's been fighting in, and wear something worthy of protecting her precious noggin.
