Trade for 16g galvanized haubric

Post by Ivar »

Greetings all! I am in need of a short sleeved, mid-thigh length, 16ga haubric. Now, here's the fun bit: I want it riveted. I figure, if you're gonna wear chainmaille, wear the best. I will blacken it myself. I am a BIG guy (email me for sizing) What do I have to trade? Well, I have a full armor workshop, and am learning from the best (Duke Sir Ronald), so I would be willing to make you armor, or trade you armor pieces. I have been working in leather for over 8 years, and have made just about everything, including hardened torso armor. I am also a wholesale leather/dye/hardware dealer. I have some idea of what the haubric would be worth, and am willing to negotiate for whatever you may need.

I also sell cigars from, ahem, "somewhere off the east coast".

If anyone can help me, I would really appreciate it.

I should soon have a 5/16, 16g riveted haulberk with flattened rings coming from India. I havn`t seen the quality yet, but from close up pictures it looked to be a major improvement over earlier stuff. When it does I will post an assessment on my opinion and we can go from there. it might be possible to have the width expanded to accomodate your size, I don`t know, but I think it should. I will also let you know the full price I paid, once I know, but I think you will be pleasently suprised.
