AA Apology

Post by Ka0z »

Apology is something I am not good at but it is something that you all deserve with that in mind.

It is with a more clear and adult mind I sit this morning and look back on my last few days messages. I hereby apologize to PatternWeld,GunnerUlfson,Hamish Nisbit and every other member of this Archive. I created this Armor Sale and gathered all the armor. I took the pictures and it was I who named them and posted them, in mt mind all of these made sense and had a flow to them.

I will remove myself from this chat for a length of time to be determined solely by my own meditation and inner personal journey.

I am the one in the wrong here I am sorry to have spoken to any of you in a terse or rude manner. If after enough time has passed I decide to come back to this chat I will do so in the most humble of manners. If I should ever think to put up a new Garage Sale I will pass it by an outside person before I place an add.

Again I was wrong I apologize I will work hard to never let it happen again.
I truly meant this as an apology not an half gassed sideways apology

I never stay in one place for three of my opponent's blows. I also never let my opponent throw three unanswered blows. Standing in front of your opponent lets him perfect his pell technique. Most fighters are very good against a pell. - Duke Gyrth

"I'm sorry I lost my temper" is an apology. "I'm sorry you are an idiot" is not.

That is all I intend to say on the matter. Take a few calming breaths, and do with the unasked-for advice what you will.

This except it was closer to honorless idiot.

Not seeing all the PM's, I am not really in a position to decide who might be in the right here. I suppose that it is possible that no one is.

I do know that there is never really any excuse to call names and insult people, unless you are on a school playground. Provocation matters little to me. If I find myself engaging in such behavior, I know I need to check myself imeddiately and apologize.

For what it's worth, I would like to say that I had a positive experience and super smooth transaction buying some items from KaOz.

KaOz, Your apology comes off badly, even to someone like me who thinks well of you. While parts of it seem sincere and honorable, you also take the time to place some broad-sweeping insults in there. That's bad form, my friend. I have taken the liberty of bolding the good parts below. If you had just stuck to these phrases, this would have been a first rate apology that any reasonable person would have accepted. The other stuff ruins it by making it seem like the whole apology is insincere, and a device for insulting the people you are rendering the apology to.

I hope these remarks are helpful to all.

Best regards, Canis

Judging by the insults received from what I considered a very conscious very detailed manner of where to read and how to look at each photo. I was wrong about the caliber of people here on the AA. I applied my own ideas of how adult men and women who proclaim themselves people of honor should react and have the ability to flow with the posts and said instructions I had posted. I am sorry for judging you all in that manner. I will remove myself from this chat for a length of time to be determined solely by my own meditation and inner personal journey.

I have taken it on myself to apply my own ideas of what I considered honor and intelligence and applied it to this AA and its users again I am the one in the wrong here I am sorry to have spoken to any of you in a terse or rude manner. For some reason I thought this was the Kaos that does 15th century reenactment in Europe and was surprised to see the tirade posted this morning. I now realize it's a different archive member altogether.

KaOz,

I am not willing to be part of your public "Apology". I will not condemn you in the public manor in which you have chosen to do. Please remove my name from your postings.

If you wish to discuss this privately, then i am willing to do so. Weather via private message, or in person at say Gulf Wars.

Ka0z,

I accept the spirit of your apology, even if it didn't come through as intended.

It is easy to make assumptions and to judge others in haste. I wish you success on your journey. It seems you have fine fellowship and mentors within House Griffinclaw to aid in that.

I tend to be rather snarky when offput and I have removed the offensive graphic from my earlier post. Stooping to name-calling on my part didn't help and for that, I also apologize. It did not reflect well on me to respond in that manner. As you can plainly see, we all have our own personal journeys.

Regards,

Grimr
