Have you use this the Spectra undergarment or know people who use it and what is your opinion of its quality and functionality for rapier/ C&T play?

Have one. Wear it under period clothing. Works fine for rapier. I'd probably want somethng more for exuberant C&T. It doesn't add padding at all.

Works fine, but "feels like swimming in a slug" to quote a friend.

What size would you wear? I'll sell you mine.

I like mine a great deal, but then I don't live in a humid area. I find it much cooler than a standard fencing jacket of canvas, but it is not absorbent and takes a bit to wick away perspiration. You might wish to wear a t-shirt or something similar with it. It washes well and wears like iron.

As mentioned, it provides puncture resistance, not padding.
No, really, I'm serious. Look at my face. :|

My game improved a bunch when I switched to a sleavless dublet and linnen shirt with the reinforced armpit gusset.

It works, It's safe but once you upgrade it lives in the closet.

First said to me by Don Matteo when he was in Northshield... I hear he's taken his slug-swim-shirt further south.
