I guess I will have to get some blue foam, pad it back up properly, take more pictures and charge more for the extra time, so that people who are trolls, have ZERO interest or intention of buying this helmet, can be satisfied?

If that's the case, when the helmet sits down where it should, the eyes will be ABOVE the cutout and grill, no?

I'm sorry I didn't address this question before.

With a bascinet of this shape, it's similar to some of the almond shaped skull Japanese helmets, in that the further back your head fits, the deeper your head will go and the lower the helmet will sit.

There is a point of equilibrium in how it sits, how far back into it your head is and how low it can go while still being able to see out of it.

Either way... I think, in the picture wearing the blue arming cote, that it makes me look like a rabid garden Gnome...

I think that helm looks like a tank, and I would have no problem wearing it. The pictures speak for themselves, and next time, we should all let them.

Ok.... its too close to x-mas so I am going to remove the helmet from sale. I'll put it up again sometime after new year. It will give me time to refurbish, blacken and re-assemble some other 14th century armour bits to offer with it as a kit.

Thanks for looking & overlooking the drama.
