WTT: Airsoft for SCA fighting gear

Post by Kendrick le Oggesfot »

I have a KWA KP45 Match NS2 gas blowback pistol up for grabs. Shooting around 350-380 fps, Includes 1 magazine, hop-up adjustment tool, and I might still have the box. It is in used but pretty good condition. This was an impulse buy and only fielded a handful of times. Retail price is around $150 +/- http://www.airsoftgi.com/index.php?cPath=284_342
I would like to trade for equivalent retail value, (ie., used shield w/ demi gaunts, etc...)

I'm looking for:
Heater shield (aluminum) strapped for use with RIGHT HAND preferred, but not necessary.
Clamshell or Demi Gauntlets (steel)
Rattan waster w/crossguard & pommel

I'll entertain any SCA legal (mild or stainless steel) armor offers, but the list has priority. Trade + cash negotiable.

***I also have a couple non-functioning but repairable AEG's (Classic Army, Tokyo Marui, and Bravo) I may consider for trade. Let me know if you're interested & I'll give you details about them.

What AEG's do you have?

(on Pennsic) I know that movie. It is the 13th warrior. A bunch of guys in armour that doesn't match itself or anybody elses, go on a trip and argue and get drunk and get laid and then fight Tuchux.

Tokyo Marui MP5K PDW *This poor thing has been molested several times over & left in the corner sobbing (just being honest here  ) This was my gearbox learning platform as well as my first mod experiment. It cycles but it's performance is extremely poor. Possible compression or spring problem, not quite sure.
Mods: Attached an M4 retractable stock & cut off the vertical foregrip. Poorly rewired to the back. Top rail not included.

The following two I'm kind of attached to, but will consider the right offer:

Classic Army G36c (modded to G36K RAS) Started life as a G36C (6mm gearbox), but added a G&G G36K RAS front end. It's new, retail value with mods is about $600-700 ish. This was purchased & built before the flood of Chinese clones hit the states. Sadly, A comparable looking Chinese AEG now would cost far less than what I put into this one. The base gun was $295, the RAS front end was about another $220! The gun cycles, but is not feeding properly. Possible tappet plate or nozzle problem but I'm not sure, haven't had time to look at it. Also, the bolt securing the magwell broke off at the threads. Easily replaceable, does not effect performance. Last chronoed @ 365 FPS +/-
Mods:
-G&G G36K RAS
-Madbull Black Python 6.03mm Tightbore (363mm)
-Systema M120 Spring
-Systema Hop-up bucking
-Matrix Magnum 3000 motor
-Battle Axe M4 magwell conversion (Also will include original)
-Vertical fore grip
*PEQ box battery, sling, and rail covers not included

Bravo RDW This is a clone of the VFC PDW, which was a replica of the Knights Armament PDW. I LOVE THIS GUN! New retail value with mods is $275-300. Trigger unresponsive, but the motor does turn when connected directly to battery. I ran this thing stock with a 11.1v Lipoly. Probably fried the wiring or the selector plate. Not sure. Rear sight post is bent but replaceable. Last chronoed @330 FPS +/-
Mods:
Madbull Black Python 6.03 Tightbore (200mm???)
-Modify SP110? spring
-Element red polycarbonate hop-up assembly
-Element? H-type hop-up nub (I think)
-Mock suppressor
-x2 mid cap mags

It is pictured second from top, I can provide better pic if requested. PEQ box battery, Aimpoint replica, and Vertical grip not included.

I will entertain reasonable offers. I won't post an asking price since I don't know what to ask for non-functioning Airsoft guns. Repair fees generally run $45 or so, plus the cost of parts. Please check your local laws regarding airsoft guns before purchase!
