I'm raising money for shears.
Over the past couple of weeks I've been making a Corizzana style breast and back plate and have come to the conclusion that cutting with a jig saw sucks and is to slow so I need a throatless shear.
Well I found one a Bosch 10 guage shear, so I need to raise some money for it now here is what I woulds like to do.
I need several small commissions (nothing large) paid in advance (or mostly in advance)to cover the coast of the shear. I figure with transaction time for money and shipping of shears delivery of armour will be in 2 to 2 1/2 mounths from now.
Here is my list of stuff; prices are for mild steel with satin finish(I may also be able to do some stainless and aluminumn but it may take a hair longer and cost a bit more)as I have a big sheet of in the car port and need to use it up before I get in trouble for it.
Shipping will be by priority mail actual cost due on completion and I will prime and paint any item Black for $2 and $3 for any other color (this just to cover the cost of paint)will role edges for $5 to $15 depending on item
Dog collar gorget with turned edge $25 strapping $5
Brig gorget $60
Spanish collar $75
Spaulders 3 lame (straight) with outer edge turned edge $50 strapping $5
Spaulders 3 lame (horseshoe crab/chevron) $65 strapping $5
3 peice half gauntlets (pair $30 for one) $50 stapping $7
3 peice half gauntlets with bell cuff $70 strapping $7
If you are interested email me aknight@mmcable.com
Also I only plan on taking enough commissions to pay for the shear (5 to 6 at the most)
Thanks
LS

Andrew
I sent you another instalment Saturday morning, you should get it Wednsday or so...hope it helps toward the shear
Everybody else:
The Corazzina LS is making is for Me. I will be glad to post a review of it when it arrives as well as answer any questions anyone may have. I do not have the means to put pics online at this time, but I will probably send pics to Krag to post in the members pics section for all to see if that is alright.

Don't you make armor stands as well? Maybe you should add those to the list of items.

Sasuke thats a good idea infact I just picked up wood to make yours.
I posted the itms I did because I figured I could make those quickly because my free time is getting less and less free.
Armour stand simple floor one for upper harness and helm $50 plus shipping, it would peg together no screw or bolts.
LS
On muttmans stuff I'm pounding away right now almost ready to wire wheel it and start covering it.

Andrew,
Any chance you could send Me plans for a full armor stand? I`ll need one for arms and legs as well as torso and helm. I want too keep My gear from getting nasty inside an armor bag between uses. I have all the tools I`ll need to make one out of wood, but I`m looking for a good design.
Thanks
