Shamrock Armoury cup hilt review

Post by Conn »

All,

A quick review of Shamrock Armoury's cup hilts: For anyone that knows or has dealt with Jackie, you are already aware of his fine work and these do not fall short. While waiting for my commissioned helm from him, Jackie provided me with two of these amazing hilts. As you can see from the pictures, the hilt is the most streamlined I have ever seen, while maintaining minimum protection standards. These two are of mild steel, but he does make stainless ones as well. I am not sure of the metal thickness, but they are light and appear thinner. The rattan attaching points are twice as thick as the rest of the hilt. The welds are clean and complete. I have provided pictures holding the stick with my leather demis as they seem to work the best. Metal demis that normally fit into a Baldar hilt will probably not work with these. Overall, a great hilt with excellent balance that are extremely streamlined if that is what you are looking for. I think these will be put into production in March...

Thanks Jackie!

Any idea about how much they will go for?

They are $45.00 plus the shipping for stainless, and $30.00 plus the shipping
for mild steel. If you want the mild steel blued it would be $35.00 plus the shipping.

Hello all

I have one of his cup hilts and i love it. It gives me good protection and has taken a ton of shots. And it has done just fine. Try one out. I dont think u will regret it.
