German gauntlets in 1400's
I am looking to my fellow Archivers for help in finding gauntlet images of German soldiers in say 1450? mid-Germany. All the images I have found from effigies and such look to be finger gauntlets and from what I have read the mitten style did not come along until the 1500's and that was from Italy. Is this true of the other styles, such as catsa.., lobstertail, manatee...? I have already decided that I'm going to have to up my time period to be more in line with what I'm looking for in kit image.
