Who made this helmet?

Post by sulla123 »

I recently won a helmet on ebay and I was wondering if any one new who made it. The makers mark is a star and next to it what looks like an N with an I over the top of it. Attached is a photo.

Sounds like Northstar Armoury.

It looks like one of the 70 some James Early and I did for Sharper Image back in the 90's. Especially the sqauare sights. Check the back lower edge or the right and left sides for makers marks

Looked at it again the only makers mark is the one mentioned with the star. This is both on the helmet and visor.

By the way I plan on cutting the left and right side of the square sites and reshaping them into something more historic like these. http://www.flickr.com/photos/13973564@N07/6849315779 I think it should be pretty strait forward. But seems things are always harder after you get going haha.
