Starting bid is too high for me, but I've heard from several folks here that this in one of those necessary books.

Excellent book and necessary, however:

I have seen it go regularly on Ebay for about 12 bucks.

It's almost always on e-bay. I got mine for about $30 CDN including shipping and it was library bound.

Check it out from you local library when you need it. There is one at ours and I'm the only one in town who ever checks it out so it's sorta like havin' my own copy. Of course if you can find one for 12 bux that's too good a deal to pass up!!
