This is a re-post of my last axe. The deal fell through (Life happens!), so I'm offering it again
The head is made from glued and sewn leather with a foam striking edge and covered in plastidip, then sewn to the shaved and stained rattan haft. It's 62 1/2" long without a buttspike (which I can add for you at no extra charge). $65 plus shipping. As always I take PayPal at
m_kreitzer@yahoo.com , or you can elect to have me email you a paypal invoice so you can use a credit or debit card. Thanks!

Alternately, you can save $15 and have me deliver it to you at Pennsic, or Baron wars if you're going there...

That's the nicest one I've seen thus far, man. If I were into SCA, I'd be all over it. GLWS.

nice though you may want to check those edges with a marshals gauge they may be able to penetrate more than .5 inches inside a helm

The head I got from you last Pennsic was pretty much destroyed at Lilies (there were alot of 6ft weapon only days:) so I am in the market:)
One question, if I ordered one, would wanting flat sides on the haft increase the price any?

Nope. Not a bit, if we're talking "oval" type cross section as opposed to "flat as a board". Totally flat would mean that I would have to buy more expensive rattan.
