WTB-old/in need of repair armor bits.
I'm looking to get ahold of some old, rusty or somewhat broken armor bits for a project I have in mind. Can't be totally shot (ie rusted through, broken in half, etc.) but can have broken parts, rust, missing parts, etc. Rusty old helm, mismatched old knee cops, gauntlets that have lost all their rivets and are held together with duct tape, drop me a line.

Seaan,
I have a large size aircraft aluminum plackart that I got from one of Ice's scratch and dent sales. It slightly cracked when they put the center seam in it so its not been repaired or polished/strapped yet.
The large size is just a little too small for my fat ass + arming cotte + maille, I think I paid $50-60 for it
I also have a old Hjalmr crusader helm that was sold here because the faceplate was too close. I have since sanded it (now rusted from sitting for 2-3 months in a lonely spot under the anvil) and split the face down the centerline. (with the intention of welding in spacers, then covering the split with a cross afterwards.)
I think I paid $60-70 for it.

I have a couple of mild wingless floating elbow cops I'd send to you. Or bring when I get the tent.
