When will you be ready for another commission?????

This is more of a general question. I got back from Gulf Wars and was both pleased and disappointed in the armor there. What I did find was that most of the competent armor makers there had virtually stopped taking custom orders. “Not until next yearâ€

And the answer to your question, aside from Adam telling you he's available soon, is YES, many armourers DO post here when they have an available slot.

Also.. It it's not an "emergency" situation where you need something immediately..
Find an armourer you like and ask nicely. More than likely if they have a slot comming up soon they will tell you about it.

Point in case.. I talked to Adam last week. Sent him an e-mail telling him I really like his work and would like one of his helms. I was willing to wait up to a year if that was the case. (I have a helm.. not a good one but it's still got alot of life left in it.)

Fortunately he came back with an answer that he can do it and he has the slots opening up in 3-4 weeks.

I did the same thing with Truehearth armouries. I asked.. Carlo told me he had a backlog of a few months but if I was willing to wait he'd do it for me.

An a side-note both Adam and Carlo's times are turning out to be about the same for start of construction.. So I'm gonna get a brand new kick-a$$ kit all at once Image

Logan of Seaforth,
When are you hoping to have this helm made by. I am often not running more than 8 weeks out on most orders. Take a look at my sites and drop me an email if you are interested in working something out. Http://photos.yahoo.com/patrick_thaden2001 as well as the link below.

Logan, I have time now... but do you have a pic of what you want? Then I could tell you if it's something I can do or not.... even if you don't pick me, it'd be fun to see anyway.
