Prefer black or red leather. Looking to pay no more than $75

Glendour could make one for around that price range, I think. I haven't asked what he's charging these days, but he's at Pennsic. I'm not sure how much luck I'll have reaching him until he's on his way back.

No worries. I'm not in a huge rush for it or I'd pay a few extra $ and just order one online.

Glendour makes a mighty nice looking gorget. Reminds me of Brian Price's old pattern.

I don't think he got it from Price, if anything he might have got it from the old Middle Kingdom Hammer.

It is $75, plus shipping of course, I just got a text from him.

Aluminum. They are formed so that unlike a number of brig gorgets I've seen, they conform to your body rather than stick out horizontally from the back of your neck. But you probably noticed that from the pictures. ;)

Probably Paypal, but it will be a couple days before he can start on it. He has to get back from Pennsic and get his son into school, etc. I'll call him in a couple days to remind him, he's pretty tired right now, and only half way back from the war.
