The list of precedence as of right now shapes up as follows. My apologies to anybody who I have assumed a buying interest. I have tried to sort you by your posts. Those I weren't sure of I marked with a (?). I would ask anybody who is still interested to drop me a quick email containing the following:

1.If you are still interested, do you want to order now, or later. I need to know this so I can assign your spot to somebody who may want to order quicker.
2.What shoes you want, and how you plan to pay for them (look at the measurement page for information regaring that)

So here is the list:

0.James Kirkpatrick
1.Edric
2.Robert de Carruthers (withdrawn for now)
3.Xanthier
4.Marcidius
5.Halberds
6.Alcyoneus (?)
7.Armourer Eric
8.Conrad the Mad
9.Pietro da San Tebaldo
10.Sarnac
11.Thomas Powers (?)
12.Bascot (?)
13.Krag
14.Arland
15.Sigeric
16.Draconis
17.Brodir
18.Taltosh
19.Drake Orion
20.Grendel
21.Alexi
22.Knyaz
23.Railbeart
24.Baron Ulrik
25.AngusGunn
26.Shameless
27.Bjorn
28.Abadonn
29.Jengjen
30.Prince of Darkmoor (you serios, Clay? Image)

If I forgot anybody, I am very sorry, just prod me by email to "claim" your spot on the list. I will tehn upgrade the list. If I do not hear from you within the next two-three weeks, I will have to surrender your spot to somebody lower, but no worried, you can still get these from me later on.

Thanks

Sebastian

Like I said on the e-mail I sent you, I am interested but am looking at March or so before I could afford to pay for them. I assume we are still referring to:

"This shoe is called "Schnabelschuh" It is available in the sizes 36-48 (that is 4 to 14 US mens). at 155$. Available in one or two colors."

One colour, probably medium to dark brown in an American size '9'. What would shipping cost to zip code 46224 standard UPS?

I definitely want a pair of the shnabelshuh, but ditto on above. I just bought several pounds of mastadon ivory, and about 15 lbs of various steels! It'll be after Gulf War before I could get them. I don't know what the time delay is on production, but move me down to wherever "definite sale, but broke until late March" puts me. Thanks.

I usually do not ship UPS. I ship through German Postal, who work with either DHL or US Postal. I can get you a UPS quote, but UPS transatlantic is usually hideously expensive.

PS: Just checked UPS, would be abot 70$. No UPS ground shippping available International. Postal service on these would be either 15 or 25$ Expedited either 35 or 45 (depending on package weigth).

Sebastian, what part of Germany are you in and do you do SCA here in Drachenwald?? If you do were you at St. Mathieu in Turmstadt?? If not it sounds like you should get into it, you would have practally a whole kingdom at your beck and call!!

Shipping would be 25$ maximum on the ground route, probably (depending on shipping weight) 15$. That is economy shipping with German Postal.

Again, thank you for the interest, just let me know when you want to order

I have sent in my membership application three weeks ago. After 8 years of other reenactment, you guys finally got me, so to speak. When and where is St.Mathieu? I live in Cologne, Germany, that is Barony of Drei Eichen. It used to be Canton Wolfsau, but it will (so I hear) soon be the Shire Rheingold. I am really looking forward to meeting at least a part of the crowd in person Image

It is no problem if you want smaller modifications, like a round toe, or a higher heel. The ywill be available at no or very low surcharge, The type of boot Sarnac asked for is also available, for 200$ Also soon to come: Earlier type boots more suited for Viking/early Norman type look and another model sandal-type shoe for the ladies. Pics will soon follow.

I think this will be the last or next to last update on this topic,

I will abandon the list now and go to a regular order queue. So anybody who has the money now, send in your measurements and I will give you a timeestimate on completion.

I will post here again once the site is online for real.

Thanks

Sebastian, did you get my email from last week?

Ya, I got mine in last week, just haven't had the time to post a good review.

The quick and dirty of it:

I bought 2 pair, one for myself (low boots) and one for my lady(princess).

We were both very satisfied them. The uppers seem to be some nice soft deerskin or elk skin, really comfortable without socks. The fit is nearly perfect, being custom fit the are a tad small but the leather will stretch out. The soles are nice and thick, great for fighting in (which I plan to do). The stiches are outstanding.

Overall great workmanship, great looking, great comfort, and Sebastian did a great job of keeping me informed on the status of the order. Highly recommended for anyone considering it.

Questions?

I have had 4 custom, ers in the states so far, but only Edric is on the Archive. Right now it is the start of reenactment season, I would assume around 8 weeks manufaturing time.

Greetings Sebastian!
I am anxiously waiting on the early boots. Any idea on cost or are pictures available yet? Would a delivery date of early August be possible?

Thanks!
