For Free... Oxygen Tank Valve Covers

Post by Sigeric »

Greetings all,

If anyone is interested, I have two valve covers in very good shape that could be converted into some type of ball stake. I don't really have any use for them, so if you want one or both just let me know.

All I'm asking is that you pay for the shipping (I would guess it won't be more than a couple of bucks).

While I don't need another,
I wanted to let everyone know that these covers can be very useful as planishing stakes.
They are just under 4 inches in diameter, and fairly strong.

Hi Scott,

They are approximately 4 inches wide and 6 inches tall and about 1/4 inch thick. I will measure them tonight and post the exact size and I'll take a picture.

Here's the info on the two covers.

http://members.aol.com:/fuersty/valve.jpg

Both are 3 1/2" Wide, about 3/16" Thick and the one on the left is 6" and the right is 6 1/2" in Height. I would guess they weigh less than a pound each.

If anyone is interested just let me know.

Thanks,
Sigeric

I checked the weight on these covers and they were a little heavier than I thought. Each one was just over 2 pounds. I will have to run to the post office to get "New" postage rates and let you know the exact cost.

Rob... I have your name down for one of them... do you want the one on the right or left? By chance are you going to Warriors & Warlords?

I would be interested in the one on the right if it is still available.

Thanks

Hi Sigeric,

Yes, I am planning on going to Warriors & Warlords. If you are going also I have no problem waiting until then to get the cap.

It will be fun to meet someone else from the Archive.

Thanks,
Rob
