If you get it, let us know how the fitment is. I've seen it for sale on another site that claimed it was their own design, too. Hmm....

My first sword came from JC Pennys in 1969. My brother bought a suit of armour from them at the same time.

Otto - your sword and armor probably were made by Marx. Those were the "toys" that inspired my life long obsession.

As to the linked Sears "Grace Collection" helmet - do you think the ad repeated "Clamshell Close Helm with Chain Mail Aventail" "Clamshell Close Helm with Chain Mail Aventail" "Clamshell Close Helm with Chain Mail Aventail" enough?

How about Sears honoring a GODAMN WARRANTY on a furnace? Where do I find that in their catalogue.
Do not buy from this company. Anything. Ever. Fucking liars and thieves.

Oh-mah-gawd! I'm very confused about everything but the good airflow... is it a clamshell monkey face salad, or a highly desired zinc plated chainmail sheet chain mail poor mans armor sheet?

Nope! A Steel Toledo sword, they still made pretty good ones in the 60's, the quality really went downhill in the 70's and after. The Armour was steel, made in Italy or Spain..somewhat wearable. I remember the Marx armour sets though!

Man - where was this stuff when I worked there?
Course that was over 20 years ago and Sears was still a tolerable company then.
