Wholesale Ratan Blowout!!

Post by Duke Icefalcon »

Start your own rattan empire....Be the hero to your Kingdom.. Fill your cellar with more rattan than you could possibly use...

Do to a slow economy, I have purchased top quality manal rattan at a discount. I bought several hundred staves and would like to make a quick turnaround on my cash. We are prepared to sell 9-11 foot manal rattan for the following prices:

1 stave $20 each
10 staves $19 each
25 staves $18 each
50 staves $16 each
100 staves $14.25 each
200 staves $12 each

Shipments of 25 or more will be shipped using a bulk carrier trucking firm. They will be shipped full length. Orders less than 10 staves will be cut into 3 equal lengths and shipped UPS.

Mention this as when ordering. We accept all major credit cards.

These ARE great prices. Considering that we have not raised our prices for 14 years. We are now making it possible for anyone to buy wholesale from us. I am not sure that anyone will be able to beat these prices on manal rattan. You MIGHT find Philippine or Burmese cheaper....

The rattan arrived today and we are ready to ship out to anyone who is ready..

WHat exactly is the differance between manal ratan and regular ratan?

Manal kicks ass...

The others are good for pole arms and nothing else.

I cannot believe that I am not getting a huge response to this. Is there a better deal out there for top quality manal rattan?

I'll go 12 each for a cple of sticks plus shipping.otherwise the prices are what I have seen at many events and at wars over the last 5 years.......and yes that includes your booth at Gulf Wars.
Perhaps alot of us just are not in the postion to come up with 2-300 dollars for a bundle of 20(plus shipping) nor do we want the less then 10 sticks we buy cut into 3 ft lengths(how do ya make a pole arm?)

This is the first time we have ever sold rattan for less than 15 dollars a stave, even in bulk orders. Even at Gulf Wars, I do not think I have gone below $18 a stave, even during clean up.. Image

Keep in mind that this is Manal rattan, not cheap Phillipine or Burmese; which would be considerably less expensive. Most of the rattan sold in the SCA is Phillipine and folks charge $20 - $25 a stave for it. We have not raised our prices in 14 years of business. It has been $20 since we started.

I DO see your point about ordering 10 staves and wanting poles. I will be happy to ship you ANY amount in ANY length you wish; as long as you are paying for the shipping. Just bear in mind that UPS will want to slam you for unusual length.

I am just trying to save you money. It is much cheaper, shipping wise to order more rattan. If I can justify shipping by bulk carrier (Yellow Freight, etc..) it gets much cheaper. About $1 a stave or less for 100 staves.

With mutual respect,

Andreas

Sir Andreas,

Unfortunately I don't have the extra $$ at the moment.. Do you think you will have some sticks left at Estrella? If so I would definately purchase one or two from you. (Much easier when I can toss it in the back of my truck too).

Very cool. I will be at Gulf Wars and could use a staff or three! Should have room in the truck to haul it back to Chicago! ;-)

I'll buy two staves tonight at fighter practice for $12 each. Fighting with a pole weapon would be good....

Sir Eisfalke,

I've got a few of my shire members interested, but they said they wouldn't likely have the money until around Estrella time-frame. So, we'd like to know, if you don't mind, what your going rate at War will be so we can plan for that.

Looking forward to seeing you there.

I will have plenty at Birka. My rate will be $20 a piece at Estrella. If you order in bulk, at least 2 weeks before Estrella, I will give you a better discount. I will just need time to make sure that it gets shipped out there.

Losthelm,

Just remember that fighting sticks are a LOT thinner than SCA standard rattan, usually half the thickness...

usualy run a little thinner but not much. same base matereal and the bigger ones tend to last a little longer not to mention work a little more like a real weapon.
