I also would like to know how much you are asking for them, and who made them.

These were made by me under the tutelage
of Master Jeffery of Lincoln,a Trimarian
armoring laurel.
They are 6 lames with articulated metacarpal
plate ,floating cuff which is short made of 16 ga. stainless.
my hand measures 4 in across the knuckles
knuckles to fingertips is 4.5 in.
wrist to finger tip is 8 in
I wear an XL glove and these gauntlets transfer all shock to the weapon.
I will ask $175 and shipping,am also open
to trade.

Not Massa G.

I think I met Master Jeffrey a while back. Does he make aluminum war shields?

I asked because the rivet placing on the finger lames is quite curious.

According to his web site, he can make any type of shield as long as its a flat one < as of right now >.. apparently he is working on a way to get them curved. Not sure if he makes them for the wars or not though.

Ah. Not the same person that I had in mind. The person that I was thinking of makes V-shaped war shields with a compound curve and crease down the center that are about 5.5 feet tall.

He makes them out of two pieces that are curved from top to bottom and then TIG welded. Excellent shields.

The one I had played with had a huge device engraved into the front of it.

No not Massa "G" at all but I am lucky enough to know Massa "G" and have gotten some armor from him in the recent past.

Yes.....He is the one that makes the
Asgardian "V" shields.
Also recently became a Knight as well.
The rivet placement is not the "standard"
placement yet with the more rounded shape of the lames allows for good articulation.

They can be stapped with a palm strap if you wish, otherwise that will be up to you as we each have our own preferences.
In trade i would be looking for a simple
type 1 wisby COP,like the one Ld. David Clermont had up for sale.

Actually Master Geoffry Maynard ( I think that is what he is calling himself these days) is a Trimarian tent Laurel. The neat stuff he does with armour and shields is just a really nice bonus.

That is what I thought. I was unaware of any armouring laurels in Trimaris.

I think the only one that they ever had turned his medallion in:

Shosi sp? (Blacksword)

These have been sold !
Thanks to all who inquired ! Image
Took an offer that was hard to beat

process.
