The basic helm is a large GDFB Stainless 14G bascinet w/ pigface visor. It has several very minor surface dents from a few particularly brutal blows, but nothing that couldn't be fixed fairly simply. It's a solid and weighty helm, and has a sewn in liner w/ padding, you will probably want more padding than it has but it's not hard to change out or augment.
It fits on my 24.5" noggin with room for a few ACH pads that I like to use.
Additions:
-A military issue adjustable chin strap was installed
-The usual spring pin closure has been cut off, and replaced with a leather strap attached to each side of the visor to hold it shut
-The hinge pins have had holes drilled in them, and a small brass chain attached to each side, this both looks stylish (I think) and holds the pins securely in place.
-A galvanized, dome riveted aventail has been attached via the brass vervelles. The edge of the aventail that crosses the chin has been covered in a soft leather for comfort.
I paid $150 for the helm and $200 for the aventail.
Would like ~$250. Finances being what they are, it's probably better that I move this helm along sooner rather than later so feel free to make me an offer.

EDIT: I reassessed the basic asking price to $250 after looking around at other aventail and helm prices. Apologies.
