Positive review (accdntprone)

Post by Corbyn_Delano »

My helmet arrived today, and despite the unconventional packaging, I have zero complaints.

The process was smooth and clean. From start to finish, the lines of communications were open, and feedback was welcome from payment to delivery. Even so far as to offer a minor adjustment late in the game (which I didn't require, but appreciated nonetheless.)

Helm arrived exactly as we discussed, in a timely manner, and perfectly depicted as the couple photos had suggested it would. The workmanship is evident even on a piece that was put together last minute... and above all the pricing couldn't have been beat for the product I received.

All in all, I have to say, that I would suggest Accdntprone's business to other's.

Aww, who wouldn't want there helm to arrive in a pampers box? :P. It was Kaylee (my one year olds) contribution to the transaction lol. Glad you like the helm, thanks for the positive review.

The pampers box is okay, just as long as the shipping padding wasn't the USED pampers!!! :-)

Nice looking lid!

No website, perhaps someday.
The above helm was a messed up top (I was trying to rush and paid for it) sold as a "second". Cosmetic flaws, but still solid and safe for sca. SO I sold it at a reduced price just to get the money I had in steel and rivets back. Well, a little more than than actually, but not much. Usually my spangens have a slatted back and some other detail work and go for about $200.

This is the helm that I was working on when I made that top. I ended up just starting over. The whole "never have time to do it right, always have time to do it over" axe strikes again. Still, it led to Corbyn getting a solid hat for a price that was in his budget so its all good :)

accdntprone,

Do you do anything like a sallet?
If so, what is the price range and do you have any pics?

I've written this message four times already and it's STILL telling me I have used too FEW characters!!!!
I can't imagine how many charatcers I HAVE to use to ask a simple question....

Please don't mind me, I've had a rough few months!

I have not made a sallet. Let me look around, see what I can find in the way of patterns.
