Review: Clothing from Rev. George...
A week or so ago I ordered 4 hats and a gorget from Rev. George. Delivery time was fantastic, the quality was great, and the price was great!
Here is a picture of me wearing one of my new hats at Border Raids last weekend:

I would definitely order from Rev. George again!

Thanks steve...
of course, I'm restocking my bits as we speak, but currently, i have the following new items availible:
Archive belt favours: similar to this:
6" across the bottom, includes a small pouch for auth cards, ID, money, ETC.
16.50 including 1st class shipping (uninsured).
Tunic of byzantine themed brocade:

Fits approx a 54" chest. This tunic has 4 gores (front, back and both sides) and the center gores are inserted, rather than having a seam up the centerline.
Close up of fabric:
Asking $85 including shipping, mainly due to fabric costs. willing to entertain partial barter...

Wow... I'm entertaining wanting one of these to wear around pennsic. Let me think more, how many of these have you got Rev? Any possibility of just a favour? No pouch or anything?

As I didn't fight, I haven't really tried out the gorget yet. It seems to fit O.K., though it seems to ride a bit high under my chin - I may carve it down slightly. But it seems very well made. Hardened leather always amazes me.

To answer questions:
Wow... I'm entertaining wanting one of these to wear around pennsic. Let me think more, how many of these have you got Rev? Any possibility of just a favour? No pouch or anything? I've got 8 of them. I think you might be mis interpreting the "pouch" aspect. Its more like a pocket on the back side. I'll see if i can take some pix of it. If you werent to put anything in it, It would be a smooth favour.

I wouldnt think so. It might be a bit more loose than you were looking for, but its the difference between a 2X and a 3X... Not a whole lot.

Long Over Due George, and I am sorry, but here is the link to the pics. I will post more as I go.
"Dealing with Rev. George was an extreme pleasure. He is very knowledgable about garb and provided a lot of suggestions.
He made
Two shirts
One Tabard
One Gonfalon
One Favorite
The first shirt was a two-gore relic of St. Louis copy. Fit to a T. It was burgundy in color and made of 100% linen(I think its linen). Very comfy and my favorite. Similar to Steve's(will post a pic later)
Second was for Andreas and you can see the pic. Very sweet for him.
Third pic is of my Tabard quartered in Yellow and Blue to match the Gonfalon which is in the first pic.
The favorite was stored by my wife as its hers and we cant find it. It is also quartered as the tabard.
As you can see, George's work is fantastic. He is prompt, courteous and a true gentleman. Thanks for all your hard work. I will be in touch for more in the future.

Right. George also made 6 red and yellow tabards for our high school fencing club. They contained a fleur de lis, shamrock, maltese cross, bends and bars. Fantastic work, and I will post a pic as soon as I have them developed.
sorry G. forgot about them.

Rev G...thanks for the tunic. Very nice, need to know what it was made of. Have to do a wee bit more work on it. Just about a 1/2 size to small or I am a full size to big.
Very well made and very happy with it. Let me know if you have any extra cloth because we can use it.
Thanks and this is long overdue.
