Deepeeka Swords (Seeking review X-Post)

Post by Xanthier »

I've been looking at the Deepeeka late roman spatha they have.
However I've never handled any of their blades. Anyone have any info?

Thanks

If you want your blades for use on the field then Depeeka is absolutely awful. One of my colleagues bought a broadsword from D and against a 'blunt'EM45' sword it shattered. They are strictly wall hangings. Seriously.

Well.. I want it to hang on my hip at SCA events..
So it won't be hitting against anything else.

Had a discussion with Matthew Amt and he said for the new series and at a "10 ft rule" it'll be fine.
I'll more than likely pick it up. I'll post a review when I get it.
