To all those have emailed me and to those that are just curious. They havn't been sold and they will be sold on a first emailed, first served basis.

What is a fair price for scrap Ti?

Oh and .040 = about 18 gauge and .025 is 22 gauge.
*edit*
And when i say scrap it isn't wierd cut pieces it is full rectangles.

Sell it by weight. I have paid up to $20 a pound for titanium. Not saying that was fair, but I needed the material right away and couldn't dicker. $10 a pound is pretty reasonable, in my opinion. Check ebay and price it nicely in comparison, and it should sell.

The big sheets are just over 3lbs each, the small sheet is about 1.6 lbs (based on a density of 4510 kg/m^3)... :-)

Ok. I purchased a couple of the original sheets offered. Good communication and prompt shipping.

And, FYI, I cut a bit of one just fine with a harbour freight shear, so a b-2 should do just fine.

What gauge is that piece? I don't think the auction says?

.040 = 18 gauge

I try to get away from using gauge and use more exacting terms. Sorry for any confusion. BTW this is the perfect size piece for a Coat of Plates for an average size person. (6'1" 210lb)

Would anyone be interested in a Coat of Plates Ti kit? It would be just cut and debured plates. I figure $75 for the whole thing.

FYI: I'm trying to sell this to raise money to buy myself some armour from Historic Enterprises.

I would be interested. Have a few fighters out here that have serious interest. I would be willing.

Sounds cool, but right now I can only afford about one piece of armor a month, and a new helm is more important to me. This offer going to be around for awhile?
