Some stuff for sale.

Post by William Frisbee »

Well my Oaks Armoury kit is nearly done, so I'm going to sell my existing kit off.

I'm 5'10" and 175 lbs, average build. If you are very small or very tall, don't bother as more than likely the stuff won't fit you, but if you are in the middle this stuff will fit.

Currently I have the following available:

CLANG's early 15th century arms: http://clang.adkinssoftware.com/arm%20pics/arm%20full%20ital%2002.html

These are mine exactly. They have seen use and I've attached a leather arming tab at the top of both arms. No major dings, some scrapes and a little bit of dust, but still a solid set of arms. Mild steel. Asking $115 plus shipping.

James River Armoury 3/4th legs: http://www.jamesriverarmoury.com/LEG.HTM

These are GREAT legs. They have seen many battles and are still in great condition. A few scrapes and light dings here and there, but still in great shape. Asking $110 plus shipping for the pair.

I also have a wonderfully made coat of plates. Very similar to a Wisby 17 or 21. Side closing ponch style. The plates are stainless attached to a nice black leather (the leather is heavy, but supple, I would guess 14 or 16oz). I'm asking $100 for this plus shipping.

Anyone who wants all three can have them for $300 plus shipping.

Would you be interested in trading some tailoring work for the arms?

I am not taking regular orders, but I really like those arms Image

Have you got pics of what the new kit will look like?? Are you staying with the chapel or going to a Bascinet? If I hadn't shifted my interests and emphasis I'd JUMP on the arms and the legs. Those would go SO well with a corazinna and a bascinet!!

I'm still keeping the kettle helm. It's a very Burgundy style for my persona it fits to a tee.

As for what it will look like... it remains to be seen. I'm not rushing to finish it at all. Sasuke has plenty of work, and I'm not pushing him at all. He does excellent work and rest assured it will be a damn fine looking kit. When it's done I'll post plenty of images.

averril,

I should be back and fighting in Feb. Things are insane at the office right now and its involving a lot of late nights and weekends.

Sorry guys, been in and out for a while.

Edric (and others) the arms are spoken for already.

Ringlancer, Thaddeus has dibs on the CoP before you do. If it does not fit him or he does not like it you are up.

Figure on about $20 to ship US Post Office Prority (I've been getting 2 days to California from New Hampshire as of late).
