"I can't decide on which one."

"You silly bitch, take them both"

From "Flesh and Blood",
AKA "The Rose and the Sword" (or something like that)

WEll, I'd buy a round, and make a wedge. There's no reason you can't make your own viking tent, but the round is a lot more complicated.

Of course, I'm blatantly biased towards later periods... Image

I lean towards Panther. I bought one of their Regency's this year and I really like it. Not quite a wall tent, not quite a round tent. It's Octagonal. Already been through a rain storm with it and it was snug and comfie the whole time. You can get 'em in two sizes, and i think they're a nice compromise.

They call me Ned. It's medievally short for Edward (and it's my real name)

For such a broad period ("13th-15thC") your best chance of having an accurate tent would be a round, peaked tent.

I simple wedge can be had for about $150 from most Civil War Sutlers.

I'd narrow my focus on period to a single decade if I could, and then research tents. You'll end up with a more certainly authentic style.
