Destert Battles

Post by Bran Forkbeard »

BUMP....
Speaking of the crusades. What other desert battles could be re-fought using a fort on a hill in the desert?
I ask because I(and some freinds) own 20 acres in eastern Utah(in the desert). We are building a log fort to use for seige battles.
I was thinking about using a battle from the crusades as the basis, but in light of resent events, thats right out!
What else could we do? We are hoping to get some SCA folks together as soon as constrution is done.

You gotta make a bridge... all castles had bridges nearby.

Thanks, a bridge is a fine idea. Saftey is the main concern, but we'll talk about it.
