A Spanish Apocalypse : The Morgan Beatus Manuscript

Post by Pheylin Quinn »

Is anyone familiar with this manuscript? I have the opportunity to purchase a copy:

George Braziller, NY, 1991, 1st Edition.

Is this worth buying? What is it's research value? I have never seen a copy in person.

There's a blurb about the book and some pictures here: http://www.nd.edu/~medvllib/apocalypse/beatus.html
It's amazing the number of manuscripts you can find some pictures of and info about just by throwing the name into Google these days. Or even just time period + country + manuscript or psalter or whatever. Makes a scribe a happy camper.
