Gentiles, I am seeking a pictoral timeline of armor, and having a tough time finding anything. I can find glossaries, but nothing showing the evolution. If anyone has any tips or leads, I would be most appreciative.

Well for Western Europe I'd highly recommend getting a copy of "Arms and Armour of the Medieval Knight" by Edge and Paddock, ISBN: 1862220018

It can occasionally be found for as low as $10.
